First Velvia from the Mamiya

After running several rolls of film (and ruining them) through the Mamiya C220 to test for light leaks, dial in metering, figure out depth of field on the 6×6 film, and to repair a stuck shutter on a lens, I took the Mamiya to San Francisco when I visited for a security conference. I ran a roll of Velvia 50 through it as the christening film. Velvia 50 is awesome to see on a light box so I was pretty excited to get some shots of the Golden Gate Bridge’s colors.

The roll was fine and I only blew one exposure. Here is the processed roll on a light box. There really is no more amazing way to enjoy photographs than a large slide on a light box.
